IF MY PEOPLE ...which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
God has promised us He will forgive our sins and heal our land. God will do it
if we choose to repent and turn from our wicked ways by submitting to God and
praying for His Light and Truth. You may be saying at this point, "Well, I'm a
Christian. I go to church. I give to the church. I teach Sunday School. Why do I
need to repent of anything?"
Before you continue defending yourself ask
yourself, when the last time was you griped and complained about your spouse,
your children, your boss, your fellow workers, the government, the leaders and
people in your church? And ask yourself when was the last time you prayed to God
for these same people and asked God's will to be done in their life instead of
reacting to what they were doing or failing to do?
Mat 5:44-46 But I say unto you, Love your
enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for
them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; that ye may be the children
of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and
on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them
which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the same?
Let us go back to your question of why do you
need to repent? You need to repent of your fear, anger, resentment, and
unforgiveness towards yourself and other people. If you can truly say you do not
have any of these feelings towards yourself, other people and your government,
then I will agree with you that you do not need to repent. However, before you
decide you do not need to repent, consider this verse: 1 John 1:8 If we say that
we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
There is one commitment I would ask you to make
before you pray for the Light of God to come upon anyone or anything. Choose to
stop complaining, griping and reacting about anything or anyone and what people
are doing or not doing. Choose to pray for the veil of darkness to be torn over
the people in your life that they may see the truth, and seeing the truth, will
be free. When you think of these people, let that be a reminder you should
immediately start to pray. In a few weeks, you will develop a habit of praying
instead of complaining, and you will begin to see things start to change in
yourself and in them.
1 Th 5:15-18 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow
that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Rejoice evermore.
Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in
Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Pet 2:17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
The greatest problem in the United States today
is not the Federal, State, County, or City governments. No, it is the problem of
Christian sinners. People who say they are Christians, but sin in the ways Paul
stated they would in the last days.
2 Tim 3: 1-5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural
affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of
those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than
lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from
such turn away. The underlined phrase shows Paul was talking about Christians as
well as non-christians. Christian sinners are the very proof we are truly in the
last days.
"Well, what can I do about it?", you say. You can
do several things:
1. Humble yourself before God, which is similar
to giving yourself over to a doctor and letting him operate on you. God is the
Great Physician and He knows exactly how to heal you in spirit, soul, and body.
Surrender to Him. When you humble yourself before God, He will heal you and you
will help the people around you. David said this in the most eloquent way:
Psa 51:4 Against You, You only, have I sinned,
And done this evil in Your sight; That You may be found just when You speak, And
blameless when You judge.
Psa 51:10-13 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do
not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And
uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You.
(New King James Version)
2. Choose to turn from your sinful, wicked ways.
Choose not to do these things anymore. Jesus and the Holy Spirit will enable you
to turn from them.
3. Pray to God to come into a personal, intimate
relationship with Him. Realize Satan will do everything in his power to keep you
from coming into this relationship. The biggest thing he has done to prevent
this is to put you under a veil of darkness.
Isaiah 25:7. (AMP) And He will destroy on this mountain the covering of the face
that is cast over the head of all people [in mourning], and the veil [of
profound wretchedness] that is woven and spread over all nations.
You and I are not the only ones who are under a
veil of darkness. It says all people and all nations are under it. This gives us
a clue for what we should pray. We should pray the veil of darkness be torn over
people (including Christians) and nations that they might see truth and seeing
the truth they might be free. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the
truth shall make you free. Who do we start praying for first? You are right! We
start with ourselves.
Here are some Scriptures that show our condition and what we should do:
Mat 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body
shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness,
how great is that darkness!
Eph 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being
alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of
the blindness of their heart:
2 Pet 1:9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off,
and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
1 John 2:11 But he that hateth his brother is in
darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because
that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
2 Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath
blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious
gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Rom 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at
hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the
armour of light.
Here's the prayer to cast off the works of
darkness, and put on the armour of Light:
I ask my Heavenly Father to send Jesus to rend the veil of darkness over me. I
choose to receive the Light, Truth, Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, and Will
of God into my spirit, soul, and body. I am immersed in His light. I am filled
with His Light. I am inside His light. His light completely surrounds me even
under my feet. I confess Jesus is the Lord of my life and I ask him to call
forth the new person he created me to be. I choose to live my life in the new
person from this day forth. Jesus comes and destroys all the areas of internal
darkness inside me so I might know Truth in my inward parts. The Holy Spirit
reveals all the covenants, soul ties, and marriages I have with evil beings,
people, and things. I choose to break my bondage to each one as the Holy Spirit
reveals them to me. I choose to no longer walk in darkness outside or inside of
me. Jesus is my Lord and there is no other.
2 Cor 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined
in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the
face of Jesus Christ.
John 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me
should not abide in darkness.
John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them,
saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in
darkness, but shall have the light of life.
John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the
light of men.
After you cast off the works of darkness and come into the Light, you need to
make a commitment to believe and trust God in every area of your life. Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that
believeth. If you will make a will choice truly to believe and trust God, you
will begin to see miracles take place in your life and the lives of the people
around you. You will begin to see your country, your state, your county, and
your city be transformed by the mighty power of God. Why will this happen? When
you pray for the veil of darkness to be torn, it will be done because you
believe it will be done.
Mark 11:24 Therefore, I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye
pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Here is your commitment to believe:
I choose by my free will to believe and trust God in every area of my life. I
ask Jesus and the Holy Spirit to enable me to believe and trust God without
doubt. I choose to believe all things that take place in my life from this day
forward will be the will of God and not the will of Satan for my life. I will
see all circumstances, situations, and people in my life as working together for
God's purpose. Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to
them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. I
choose to love God. I choose to be called according to His purpose for my life.
PRAYING FOR OTHERS
Now that you have prayed for yourself, you are in a position to pray for others.
The first prayer to pray for others is to pray the veil of darkness be torn over
them. Why is this so? When you pray for the veil of darkness to be removed from
people, you are praying for Jesus to destroy the Kingdom of Satan over that
person so they can hear the truth of God.
Under Darkness are two major beings that destroy people: One is Deception and the other is Death. Starting with Deception, Satan uses every being in his kingdom to put you under Darkness (posing as light) so he might bring you to Death. He knows that if you die under Darkness you belong to him and he can punish you in hell. Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Judgment is set. Once we die it cannot be changed.
This is why we need to pray for people instead of
griping and complaining about the way they are or what they are doing. They need
to be in Light, so they will have a clear choice concerning whether they want to
follow God or Satan. Do not fret, worry about and react to the people around
you. Pray they will come into the Light, and being in the Light they will come
to the Truth, and the Truth will set them free.
Most people would choose God over Satan, if they
knew Who God really was and who Satan really was. People only choose Satan and
his ways because they are deceived. However, Romans Chapter One does say that
some people will know Who God is and will still choose Satan over God. These
people are not your problem. Your problem is to pray so God can level the
"playing field" between God and Satan. If they still choose Satan their blood is
on their hands, not yours.
How does Satan deceive us? The number one
deception of Satan is to convince us that we are our own god. As our own god, we
are the only ones who really care what happens to us. We think we are the ones
who are responsible for our survival, love, acceptance, success, achievement,
relationship with God, dealing with Satan and evil in ourselves and other
people. No one else will be responsible and no one else really cares. We have to
do it ourselves. The truth is we are not strong enough, or wise enough to do any
of this. We either get our power from God or we get it from Satan. When the
Light dawns upon us and the people we are praying for, we will all know our
power comes from God or Satan and not ourselves. Then we will be free to choose
God, submit to Him and receive Life--True Life.
PRAYER FOR OTHERS:
Spouse, Parents, Children, Boyfriend, Girlfriend,
Relatives, Boss, Fellow workers, Preacher, Church, Friends, Students, Teachers,
Neighbors.
I ask the Father to send Jesus to split the veil of darkness over (person) that the Light, Truth, Wisdom, Knowledge and Glory of God may immerse and fill (person's) spirit, soul, and body. I ask Jesus to destroy the areas of internal darkness (person) is under so (person) may have a clear, realistic choice between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Satan. I ask the Holy Spirit to reveal all the covenants, soul ties, and marriages (person) has with evil beings, people, and things.
I ask the Holy Spirit to enable (person) to
choose against each of these bondages as they are revealed. I pray the
conviction of the Holy Spirit come upon (person) so (person) will choose Jesus
as (person's) only Lord and (person) will choose no other evil being or human to
be (person's) lord. I thank you Father for sending Jesus and the Holy Spirit to
do this because You love (person), and it is not Your desire that (person)
should go to eternal punishment separated from fellowship with You.
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do

Col 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we
heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled
with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
When these people come to your remembrance, either by the Holy Spirit, your
relationship with them, or because there is some conflict between you, use it to
let the Holy Spirit remind you to pray for the veil of darkness be rent over
them. If you will do this,
God will begin to work in their lives according to His will, and you will not be sending any bad thoughts toward them. Please, do not ask God to change them according to how you think they should change. I am sure you do not know fully what the will of God is for your own life. If you do not, how could you possibly know the perfect will of God for someone else? Sometimes we do more harm to these people by thinking about them than we help.
Don't do it! Pray for them and for yourself so
all your real or imagined conflicts with them will be done away with in the
Light and Glory of the Father.
PRAYING FOR AUTHORITIES THAT RULE OVER PEOPLE
Pray over the following authorities. Do not forget to pray for the USA and other
countries. Add others as needed.
Government: All people at the federal, state, and
local level Commerce: All people in Businesses, Education, Legal profession,
Media, Arts, Entertainment, Computers, Sports, Environment
Spiritual: Body of Christ, Denominations, Church
leaders, Preachers, all Churches, True Ministers, The Peace of Jerusalem
False Religions: False ministries, false
preachers, satan worship, new age, occult, witchcraft
PRAYER:
I ask the Father to send Jesus, to split the veil of darkness over (Pick any geographical area, government, group of people, or specific person) that the Light, Truth, Wisdom, Knowledge, and Glory of God may immerse and fill them. I pray the Light of God destroy all deception and deceit so each one may have a clear, realistic choice between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Satan.
I thank you Father for sending Jesus and the Holy
spirit to do this because You love the world and all the people in it, and it is
not Your desire that any should go to eternal punishment separated from
fellowship with You.
Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them
from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may
receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by
faith that is in me.
I challenge you to pray these prayers every day
for 21 days. If you do, I believe you will see things begin to happen you may
not have thought possible.
AFTER 21 DAYS
Many times when I wake up, God begins to bring
certain people before my mind's eye. As they come to me, I see a ball of Light
come down from heaven and strike these people. When it strikes them, I see it
explode filling and surrounding them with the Light and Love of God. By God
enabling me to see His will being done this way, I can pray for a large number
of people and governments in a short period of time. I have prayed for as many
as 100 people in a ten to twenty minute period. In heaven all communication is
by thought through your imagination. There is no reason why it can not happen on
earth. After all, Jesus taught us to pray for the Kingdom of God to come on
earth as it does in heaven. Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in
earth, as it is in heaven. If we believe this, God will teach us to pray this
way. Choose to believe it will happen to you, and God will do it for you.
Remember, after 21 days you should be able to
pray more often for yourself, others, and governments, because it should be
