Ammo Storage Warning

I have it "by the grapevine," that if a person stores more than 1000 rounds of ammunition, all together, considering all the types they have, the government may consider them to be "storing up, and part of a militia." Years ago, I had heard rumors of such things, but discounted them.

Having said that, watch out for people doing what "may be illegal" activities like buying ammo in small lots, and keeping some after firing. People may also buy individually, for a group, in small lots. Whatever the course, people "might be liable for arrest," or ammunition seizure, if they store up more than 1000 rounds of ammo. It may be that simple people, who buy a "block or two" of twenty-twos are near the edge of "illegal activities." Be aware of that. I would not want you to get in trouble. One person may never store more than 1000 rounds.

We need to obey all the just laws. Forewarned is forearmed.
